2-Step Coronavirus(COVID-19) Test
First of all, a Video Visit (telemedicine) with our doctor is required to find out whether the patient needs to be tested for COVID-19 and/or other tests, or not. In case of confirmation of any COVID-19 related signs, symptoms, or other decisions by the doctor, the patient gets the drive-thru test in special testing locations (see below). Due to drive-thru testing, patients do not have to leave their vehicles while being tested for COVID-19. Please, take into consideration, that only 1 drive-by time-window is available for each testing location per day. Please, find the schedules for each testing location below.
COVID-19 TEST PROCEDURE
The drive-thru test is a quick and safe procedure, the purpose of which is the detection of any evidence of COVID-19 virus in the patient’s organism. The procedure of the antibody test includes swabbing from the patient’s nose carried out by our doctor. The sample collection for the SARS-COV-2 PCR test suggests the nasopharyngeal sampling method, which later is being interpreted for conclusions. During the whole procedure of sampling, the patient does not leave his/her vehicle.
WHEN TO EXPECT COVID-19 RESULTS
Within 1-3 business days, the results are ready, which means that the interpretation of the test outcomes will be sent to the patient via email.
Telemedicine and the actual testing together cost $125; All insurers cover 100% of the cost of video visit & testing costs as part of the national emergency plan. The amount for video visits and testing can be fully covered by all the insurances that are considered acceptable from AllCare’s side.
